WITH just nine days until the SPFL release the eagerly awaited fixtures, Sons pre-season schedule is taking shape.
Manager Ian Murray, who has returned from a well earned break, has arranged five friendlies and is preparing for the squad’s return to training on 21st June.
Dumbarton’s first game of the summer is against Vale of Leithen and will be played at the Scottish Lowland League side’s home ground at Victoria Park on Thursday 3rd July kicking-off at 7.30pm.
Two days later Edinburgh City on Sat 5th July, Sons travel to Ainslie Park (home of Spartans FC) and will place Edinburgh City.
Newly promoted Premership club Hamilton Accies are our hosts on 15th July at New Douglas Park.
Partick Thistle are Sons first visitors to the Bet Butler Stadium in the summer schedule on Saturday 19th July and the final friendly ahead of the big kick-off has Carlisle United at the Rock on Tuesday 29th July, kick-off 7.45pm
Admission prices for all matches have yet to be confirmed with the respective clubs and once known, we will publish the information.
