GAFFER Ian Murray is not letting the grass grow under his feet and with the 2014/15 season complete, football planning has already started for the new campaign.
Attaining match fitness for his squad is important after the summer holidays and to aid in this, a series of pre-season friendlies are being lined up.
Players return to training on 20th June and this first session will be quickly followed by a trip to the capital to play Edinburgh City on 4th July.
This match will be played at the home of Spartans FC with the kick-off time to be confirmed.
SPFL Championship winners Hearts will be our next opponents, and this game will be played on Thursday 9th July at the Dumbarton Football Stadium, starting at 7:45pm.
Two days after Hearts visit, there is a planned encounter on Saturday 11th against Partick Thistle, and this game is intended to be a closed door match.
The busy schedule continues on 15th July with another closed door game at a venue yet to decided.
A trip to Ochilview follows on 21st July and there are moves to organise another tie on 18th.
