Dumbarton earned a point in their opening game of the 2023/24 league season this afternoon.
A deflected shot from Ryan Blair had Sons ahead after just five minutes at New Dundas Park with Brett Long making a number of saves in the later stages of the half to keep Stevie Farrell’s side ahead.
Dumbarton started the second half brightly and should have added to their lead before Rose netted a late equaliser through Luke Mahady.
