TWO members of the Dumbarton squad have today joined junior outfit Rossvale on loan deals until January 2020.
Defender Lewis Crawford and midfielder Mati Zata have been given the opportunity of game time with the juniors – who play at Sons’ training base of New Tinto Park in Govan.
Lewis signed from Petershill during the close season and played in all of Dumbarton’s first eight fixtures of the season, five of them in cup competitions.
His last game to date was as a substitute at East Fife on Saturday, September 21.
Mati, meanwhile, has played seven games for the club, the last of which was at Peterhead on Saturday, August 17.
Rossvale are currently 12th in the 16-team McBookie.com West Region Premiership.
Manager Jim Duffy said: “Lewis and Mati need games and going on loan to Rossvale will give them that opportunity.
“They will be familiar with the environment they are going into and it is a good chance for them. We look forward to seeing how they progress at Rossvale.”
