DUMBARTON FC players have been assisting at the Old Kilpatrick Food Parcels project, giving food to those who need it at Christmas time.
As part of our engagement with the local community, we were happy to pack the parcels at the depot in Dumbarton Road, Old Kilpatrick before handing them out at Dalmuir Barclay Church.
On Tuesday, December 15 Denny Johnstone, Robert Jones, Donald Morrison and Jaime Wilson were involved in making the parcels.
And today (Wednesday, December 16), Robert and Donald were once again in attendance along with Sam Wardrop to hand them out at the church.
DFC general manager Antonia Love, who also attended the sessions, said: “Nobody should be left to go hungry this Christmas and we’re glad to have done our bit to ensure some people can have provisions.
“We have more initiatives in the pipeline before Christmas to try and help more people enjoy the festive season a bit more.”
