Young joined Dumbarton in June 2023 after leaving Raith Rovers.

The left-back made 11 appearances across a couple of seasons at Stark’s Park.

The 20-year-old spent the first-half of the 2022/23 campaign on loan at Elgin City before being recalled by Raith.
