Wilson joined Dumbarton for his second spell with the club in May 2023.

The attack-minded midfielder started his career with Partick Thistle and moved on loan to Elgin City where he played ten times in the 2018/19 season.

After leaving Thistle, Wilson was signed by then Sons boss Jim Duffy but he made just four appearances for the club before moving on to Albion Rovers.

He played over 100 times for the Cliftonhill side and found the net on ten occasions before joining Sons for a second time following Rovers’ relegation to the Lowland League.
