Blair was the first new arrival following the end of the 2022/23 season and signed a one-year-deal with Dumbarton.

A combative midfielder who can also operate across the left-side of defence, Blair joined Sons after leaving Albion Rovers following their relegation to the Lowland League.

He came through the ranks with Partick Thistle before moving to Ross County and making his Senior debut for the Staggies.

He spent time on loan at Cowdenbeath before that move was made permanent ahead of spells with Alloa Athletic, East Kilbride and Albion Rovers.
