DUMBARTON FC are delighted to confirm the fourth signing addition of the day, with Craig Pettigrew joining the Sons squad from Stranraer on a one-year deal.
Craig was with Stranraer last season and has played previously for gaffer Stevie Aitken when the Sons boss was at Stair Park.
The 29-year old defender played 45 times for The Blues last season and managed to grab a single goal that won the game for Stranraer against Forfar Athletic in March.
Craig is a product of the Junior football system having played at Auchinleck Talbot where he won 3 Scottish Junior Cups and 2 League titles and had a crack at senior the senior ranks prior to that when Brian Reid had him at Ayr United.
Assistant manager Stevie Farrell completed the signing formalities today (pictured) and Craig is now officially a Son of the Rock and his signing completes a hat-trick of squad additions ro today.
