IT is with very deep sadness that we have learned of the death of former Dumbarton player Pat McCluskey at the age of 68.
Pat joined the club in 1977 following his departure from Celtic after eight years at Parkhead.
He went on to play 125 games in the Sons colours, scoring 13 goals, including a hat-trick in a 4-2 win over Raith Rovers in October 1979. He left the club at the end of the 1979/80 season.
The thoughts of all at Dumbarton FC are with Pat’s family and friends at this very sad time.
