THE home of Dumbarton FC will be renamed the Cheaper Insurance Direct Stadium after a new partnership was agreed with the locally owned company.
Cheaper Insurance Direct will become Dumbarton FC’s stadium sponsor as part of an initial two-year agreement subject to SFA approval.
The first match at the Cheaper Insurance Stadium will be the pre-season friendly against Championship title winners Hearts on July 9th 2015 (tonight).
Dumbarton FC Chief Executive Gilbert Lawrie said: “We see this opportunity as a great deal for this club and our new sponsor.
“Cheaper Insurance Direct has firmly put down its roots in Dumbarton and is owned by Sons fans.
“This collaboration is aimed at establishing sustainability for all concerned with a successful future being the ultimate goal.”
