NEW SONS SHIRT SPONSOR IS ‘IDEAL FIT’

Sunday 20th July 2014

Dumbarton Football Club and prominent local firm Baxter Ramsay are delighted to announce a new two-year shirt sponsorship deal for the aspiring Scottish Championship side.

Baxter Ramsay is a growing, well-respected business recovery specialist firm owned by life-long Dumbarton fan David Ramsay.

From now on the company logo will be on the new Joma home and away kits, including the under-20 team.

“Our business is about helping other businesses not just to survive but to thrive,” said company CEO David Ramsay.

“Dumbarton FC are showing how a small operation can succeed at a high level and we are proud to be part of the team this season.”

Sons’ commercial and trust director Alan Findlay echoed these sentiments from the new shirt sponsor.

“This deal is an excellent fit for both of us,” he declared. “Baxter Ramsay are a local, growing and ambitious outfit — and so is Dumbarton FC.

“We are both committed to supporting and investing in the community.”
Dumbarton FC chief executive Gilbert Lawrie added: “We really appreciate the support of David and his firm.

“It’s exactly what we need to continue on the path of success.”

Last season the Sons of the Rock finished fifth in the SPFL Championship.

This season they will be rewarded with high profile games against the likes of Rangers, Hibs and Hearts as media attention focuses especially on the rejuvenated league.
