ALL at Dumbarton Football Club are saddened by the news of the passing of Sons fan Thomas Hughes.
He was the last of the members of the Dumbarton Supporters Society which included amongst others John Watters, Archie Ayre, George Blelloch, John Lacy John O’Hara and Joel MaCrae.
In the 1970s Tommy organised the club’s half-time draw and also selling ‘Sonspool’ tickets to fund the fans buses to away matches.
A true Son of the Rock.
Our deepest sympathies are extended to Tommy’s family and friends at this incredibly difficult time.
