DUMBARTON have confirmed the signing of left back Donald Morrison, who joins after leaving Championship outfit Inverness CT.
The 19-year-old was one of nine youth players who spent last season on loan to Fort William from the Highland club.
He was released by Inverness CT at the end of last season despite some impressive performances during his time with the Claggan Park outfit.
With defensive cover needed by Sons, manager Jim Duffy moved quickly to secure Donald’s services on a deal until January.
Donald will wear the number 15 shirt for Dumbarton.
The gaffer said: “Donald performed very well while out on loan from Inverness CT and the feeling is he can make the step up to League One.
“His arrival ensures competition for places at the back and he is extremely keen to do well with us. We’re looking forward to seeing how he develops.”
