Monday 1st August 2022
A TOTAL of 330 Dumbarton supporters have purchased a season ticket or a Young Sons membership for the 2022/23 season, with grateful thanks from all at the club.
With the first home league fixture of the new season having taken place, we can confirm that 224 season tickets have been sold for our 150th anniversary season.
There are also currently 106 members of the Young Sons – with membership remaining open throughout the season.
General manager Antonia Love said: “Season ticket income is always vital to DFC and we are delighted that so many fans have bought into the 150th anniversary season and shown their support.
“We were glad to give them a winning start to our league season on Saturday and it is certainly our target that the positivity will continue right through the season.”
Half season tickets will be on sale at a later date for the second half of the league campaign, and will be valid from our home fixture against Stirling Albion on Saturday, January 7.
But if any supporter aged 16 or under wishes to join the Young Sons for just £20, that opportunity remains open all through the season.
Our Young Sons have made the section at the end of the Dumbarton Football Stadium stand their own, have become famous on a national scale, and are a vital part of our support now and in the future.
We very much look forward to seeing them back this season, perhaps in even greater numbers, and as above, it is very much our aim to give them something to celebrate.
Please see this application form. As well as all the listed benefits, this will guarantee a ticket for every home league match at Dumbarton.
To thank all of our season ticket holders and Young Sons members, we would like to invite them to be part of our team photocall for the season ahead.
We will announce the date when this will take place, as well as more details of how supporters will be part of it, in due course.
