A HUGE thank-you to those who got their orders in for the Club’s DFC logo face coverings so quickly. They sold out within a few hours.
We are already holding a number of orders and will be happy to take more. A fresh batch of coverings has now been ordered, and we hope they will be with us soon.
In the meantime, thanks to striker Ryan Tierney for modelling the fashion potential of this season’s must-have Sons garment accessory! And to our General Manger for capturing the moment on camera – while socially distancing, of course.
There’s a serious point here, of course. From this Friday (10th June) everyone in Scotland who is able to do so is mandated to wear a face covering when they go into a shop or use public transport – and to do so as much as possible when out and about generally.
This isn’t just to protect you, it’s to protect other people. This deadly virus is still around, and it doesn’t care whether you’re young, old, or somewhere in between.
Remember, too, that you can be carrying the Coronavirus without any obvious symptoms, and so can other people.
So face coverings might be a bit of an inconvenience, but they can help save lives. That’s why we want to play our part in helping everyone to stay safe – with proceeds going both to the Club and to Robin House children’s hospice in Balloch.
DFC face coverings can be purchased at £7 each inc P&P. Orders should be emailed to office@dumbartonfc.co.uk with FACE COVERING in the subject line.
You can then pay by Paypal to the same email address, or alternatively by bank transfer. The details are: Sort code 80-06-41, Account number 06004525.
Current estimates are that the next batch should be with us in around 10 days.
Please note, however, that these are coverings, not masks. That means they are not medically graded and cannot be classified as PPE.
Thanks for your involvement and support!
