Defender Morgyn Neill has joined Elgin City on loan for the remainder of the season.
The centre-half returned to the club from Alloa Athletic as one of our first signings after exiting administration.
This season he played 31 times, scoring once, adding to the 66 appearances and six goals from his previous spell.
Boss Frank McKeown said: “Morgyn is someone who is used to playing every week and was becoming increasingly frustrated that he had found himself out the team for a number of reasons.
“I wanted to keep Morgyn and hoped that he would fight for his place in the team, however he felt, come the end of the season, that he would still be short of the gametime he is looking for at this stage in his career and asked to leave a few weeks ago.
“After a number of conversations with Morgyn and his agent it was then agreed that it would be best for both the club and Morgyn that we came to an agreement to let him move on.
“We wish him and his family all the best for the future and thank him for his efforts as a Dumbarton player.”
