Dumbarton Football Club are excited to announce the arrival of Michael Ruth.
The forward joins us following his departure from Queen of the South in cinch League One.
The 21-year-old came through the ranks as Queen’s Park before signing for Aberdeen.
He spent time on loan with Arbroath and Falkirk whilst at Pittodrie – and netted against Sons for the Bairns during the 2021/22 campaign.
Ruth signs a one-year-deal with the club and will meet up with his new teammates for the first time at pre-season training on Saturday.
Boss Stevie Farrell commented: “We were immediately on the case after finding out Michael was available and we’re delighted to be able to welcome him to the club.
“He is a very talented individual with his best years ahead of him but we are confident he can make his mark on the first-team immediately.
“We’re looking forward to our return to training on Saturday and the positive impact that Michael, and the rest of our new signings, will have on the rest of the dressing room.”
