Dumbarton make the journey to Stranraer tomorrow as the league campaign heads into the final three games.

Sons secured their spot in the promotion play-offs last weekend with a 1-0 win over Clyde but will be keen to keep their recent run of good form going having won four of their last five games, keeping clean sheets in the last four.

The Stair Park side have plenty to play for themselves with the battle against relegation looking to go down to the wire.

Sons did their hosts a favour last weekend when their three points allowed Stranraer to move off the bottom of the table, but boss Stevie Farrell insists there will be no goodwill tomorrow against his former side.

He said: “The last few weeks we have found a few different ways to win, and last week was no exception as we had to battle against the elements.

“We defended superbly against a good side and a moment of magic from Jinky won it for us at the other end so it was another pleasing afternoon.

“We will need to do that again tomorrow having seen first hand what can happen if you don’t turn up at Stair Park.

“Despite having our spot in the play-offs guaranteed we are still keen to keep the good run going and I expect nothing less than another good performance.”

In team news, the Sons boss reports that Brett Long, Greig Young and David Wilson remain sidelined.
