Dumbarton’s pre-season preparations continue tomorrow as they take part in the newly revamped Stirlingshire Cup.
Sons returned to training last week but will take to the pitch for their first friendlies ahead of the 2025/26 campaign at Ochilview when they meet Stenhousemuir then Stirling Albion.
All three games in Group A will take place tomorrow afternoon with Dumbarton facing the Warriors at 10:00am before a quick turnaround to face the Binos at 12:00pm. Stenhousemuir against Stirling Albion rounds off the afternoon at 2:00pm.
The games will be one hour long with the matches going to penalties in the event of a draw after 60-minutes.
The winner of the group will face the winner of Group B – either Falkirk, Alloa Athletic or East Stirlingshire – on Tuesday evening in the final of the competition.

Boss Stevie Farrell will be using a squad of those who have committed to signing deals with the club for the coming season as well as a selection of academy players and trialists throughout both fixtures.
