MATCH PREVIEW: STIRLING ALBION VS DUMBARTON

Dumbarton make the journey to Forthbank tomorrow with a slender one-goal advantage ahead of the second-leg of the cinch League One play-off semi-final with Stirling Albion [kick-off 3.00pm].

Goals from James Hilton and Tony Wallace either side of Dale Hilson’s equaliser have given Sons the upper hand after Tuesday night’s first-leg – though it remains half-time in the tie.

The hosts tomorrow afternoon will be going out all out to ensure they aren’t relegated on their home patch and Farrell insists his troops have achieved nothing yet.

Speaking post-match on Tuesday, he said: “We’re pleased to win the game and over the piece we probably deserved to win the game but ultimately it’s only half-time.

“I’m sure Stirling Albion will be saying the same, and I would be saying the same had we been behind by one goal going into the second leg.

“It was two fairly evenly matched teams and we’ve come out on top but it means nothing for Saturday, we need to go and try and finish the job now.”

Farrell reports his players made it through Tuesday night’s first-leg unscathed and he has a full squad to choose from, aside from Brett Long and Greig Young.
