Dumbarton travel to Dumfires this evening for match day two of the Premier Sports Cup, where Queen of the South await [kick-off 7:45pm].

For the Doonhamers, it wasn’t the way they were looking to get their competitive campaign under way either as Aberdeen ran out 3-0 winners at Palmerston on Saturday evening.
Despite not taking all three points against Kilby, boss Stevie Farrell was encouraged by his sides performance and had only one complaint.
Speaking post-match on Saturday, he said: “I was pleased with the game, East Kilbride are a possession-based team and our goalkeeper has had two saves to make all game.
“We’ve had four or five brilliant chances so I was delighted with the way we played and the only thing I’m disappointed with is that we never took our chances.
“It was good to get minutes in the legs and into the structure that we are playing and I was delighted with a lot of the performances.
“It’s going to be another tough test tonight and we will be looking to share minutes amongst the squad so that everyone is ready for the start of the league season.”
Farrell was hoping to have a full pool of players to choose from with Mark Durnan due to return from suspension that kept him sidelined on Saturday, though Michael Ruth has reported that he is feeling tight this morning and will not be risked this evening.
