Dumbarton travel to Forfar tomorrow as the league season heads into the final five games of the campaign.

The Loons look to be clear of danger at the bottom of the division having lost just one of their last ten games whilst Sons will be looking to take another step towards the promotion play-offs.

Stevie Farrell’s side picked up four points and kept back to back clean sheets in consecutive home matches whilst their last away day resulted in a 6-2 win against Spartans.

The Sons boss insists nothing is done yet with his side six points clear from fifth place in the play-offs but believes they are heading in the right direction.

He said: “We’ve been going along with our business quietly in the last few weeks but we know nothing has been achieved yet.

“Two clean sheets in a row is encouraging and as we continue to welcome players back from injury, it’s no surprise to see us looking more difficult to beat.

“That being said, Forfar have shown they can find a way through us having scored in every game with us this season so we will need to be at our best.

“We know we can be clinical on our day as well and being on top is both boxes is critical to earning three points tomorrow.”

Faz remains without Brett Long, Greig Young and David Wilson tomorrow whilst Michael Ruth will undergo a fitness test. Callum Wilson will also sit out, though his absence is merely a precaution on his return from long term injury.

If you’re travelling to Station Park tomorrow, all the information you need is available at the following link thanks to our Supporters Liason Officer:

Tomorrow’s referee is Joel Kennedy and he will be assisted by Ross Nelson and Jamie Andrews.
