Dumbarton will be looking to make it five wins in a row in all competitions tomorrow afternoon when they welcome Elgin City to the Marbill Coaches Stadium [kick-off 3:00pm].
Victories in the first two William Hill League Two fixtures against Clyde and Spartans have eliminated the minus five points deduction that hit the club following administration last season and are the only side to have picked up maximum points in the division.
Those wins have come either side of cup successes against Hamilton in the Premier Sports Cup and, most recently, a 4-2 success against St Mirren B in the KDM Evolution Trophy on Tuesday.
It was a positive night for Sons against the young Saints as boss Stevie Farrell was able to use his squad whilst also coming away with three points.
The Moray outfit are one of two sides still waiting to register their first points of the campaign and despite also struggling in cup competitions so far, Faz knows nothing is handed to you in this division.
Speaking to the clubs media team, he said: “It was a mixture of two things on Tuesday with getting game time to players who have had to be patient in the first couple of league games and then to win the game and keep the run we are on going is important.
“It’s been important to get rid of the minus five but we just need to keep working hard, we have achieved nothing. We’ve got the five points back and we’re in the pack but we need to keep working hard.
“We need to keep that humility, it’s been a great start but you can fall off that platform very easily.
“It’s going to be a tough game tomorrow, every game is tough. You need to fight for and earn every point you get in this league, it’s so evenly matched so they will come here and be a tough opponent and we’ll need to be at our best to get anything out of the game.”
In team news, Ryan Blair serves a one-match suspension following his red card against Spartans last weekend. Kristian Webster won’t be risked after coming off on Tuesday but is not expected to be sidelined for long. Brett Long remains injured. Dean Rhappozzoh is set to return after missing out midweek.

All supporters should enter through the ‘home’ turnstiles (1 & 2). Tickets can be purchased in advance via Fanbase. A ticketing window will also be in operation directly beside the turnstiles, accepting cash and card payments. Turnstiles and Bar 72 open from 12:30pm.

Stadium parking is available for only £1 which also comes with a half-time draw ticket as part of your entry. Disabled spaces are for the exclusive use of blue badge holders unless you have made prior arrangement with the club.
