Dumbarton are at the Rock for the final time in 2023 tomorrow as they host Clyde [kick-off 3.00pm].
Sons responded positively to their setback against Stenhousemuir a fortnight ago with a 4-2 win on the road against Forfar last weekend.
Clyde, meanwhile, narrowly lost out at Peterhead as they look to climb off the foot of the division.
Despite the Bully Wee struggling for consistency this season, boss Stevie Farrell has warned his side they need to be on top of their game.
He said: “It was an impressive performance from us on the road last week against a side Dumbarton traditionally struggle against, so to get the three points was the main thing and the goals we scored was a welcome bonus.
“I have watched the footage from the Clyde game last Saturday and it looked as if they were very unlucky not to get a point at a really tough place to go.
“We’re going to have to be at our best to get anything.
“Our focus is completely on Clyde and we know we will really have to be at it to get a positive result.”
There’s mixed news on the injury front for Dumbarton as Carlo Pignatiello joins Greig Young, Brett Long and Callum Wilson on the sidelines. Mark Durnan, however, is set to return to the squad.
