Dumbarton are back on the road tomorrow as they travel to Hamilton, where Clyde await for a cinch League Two fixture [kick-off 3.00pm].

Sons will be looking to build on a few positive performances in recent outings, though not necessarily having the points to show for their efforts.

Stevie Farrell’s side were held by Forfar and Spartans in the last week with three points at New Douglas Park vital in tightening their play-off spot.

The hosts, meanwhile, will be looking for a victory and hoping to cut the gap at the bottom of the table.

The Bully Wee currently occupy bottom spot in the league, ten points adrift of Forfar in ninth.

Faz believes that his side will eventually get their reward for their efforts on the pitch if they can continue with recent showings.

He told the clubs website: “There’s not a lot we have done wrong in the last few games, other than putting the ball in the back of the net.

“Scoring a goal is the hardest thing to do in football and that’s proving to be the case for us right now.

“If we can continue to get in the areas we are getting in and creating the chances that we are, then I know it will turn for us and we’ll get what we deserve out of games.

“Clyde are fighting for their lives just now and have proved to us earlier on this season how dangerous they can be in front of goal, so taking our chances when they come our way and remaining to be solid defensively are both vital for us.”

The long-term injured quartet of Brett Long, Mark Durnan, Greig Young and Callum Wilson remain out. Ryan Wallace is also struggling with illness and is a doubt for tomorrow.

As per our news article earlier today, club Supporter Liason Officer Drew Walls has put together the following handy information pack for all those travelling to NDP tomorrow. For ticketing, transport, and more, visit here:

Tomorrow’s match referee is Alastair Grieve and he will be assisted by Stuart Stevenson and Will Pare.
