IAN MURRAY was in fine form yesterday as he was quizzed by eager Dumbarton supporters at the Sonstrust organised Meet the Manager session.
The Sons boss, who was today given the nod as the SPFL’s manager of the month for January, gave a candid account of his time so far at the Bet Butler Stadium.
And he revealed to a large turnout of fans that he is unlikely ever to appear in a Dumbarton strip this season.
The Sons boss told the meeting that he thinks his playing days are over.
“I don’t think you’ll see me in a Dumbarton shirt now. I think I’m done,” he said.
“Barring an emergency I think me and Jacko (Jack Ross) are unlikely to feature.”
