DARREN Barr has been given the honour of captaining Sons for the season ahead by manager Stevie Aitken.
Commenting on the appointment Stevie said: “Darren will take over from Andy Graham and I must stress that this is no reflection on Andy.
“He and I have discussed the new arrangements. It’s a fresh start for everyone and Andy still has a huge part to play.
“Darren will be a good leader on and off the park and I just feel we need a different approach.”
Darren started his official duties at yesterday’s photocall held at the Cheaper Insurance Direct Stadium ahead of the 2-1 win against Clydebank.
