Sunday 6th January 2019
WITH the January transfer window now fully open, Sons boss Jim Duffy is keen to make additions to the squad, currently ravaged by injury.
Post match yesterday, the Dumbarton gaffer said : “We are looking to bring in a couple of players and hopefully that will be the case over the next week or two.
“We have been speaking to clubs and players and I’m hopeful that we’ll get one or two in.”
On loan player Dom Thomas, whose time at DFC under the original agreement will expire before next week’s crucial game against Brechin City, Jim added: “It’s up to Kilmarnock.
“I’ve been speaking to Stevie (Clark) and at this moment in time he hasn’t made a decision yet.
“I think Dom will go back for a week or two and then Stevie will make a decision.”
