ADAM FRIZZELL and Matthew Shiels have returned to Kilmarnock and Rangers respectively, with best wishes for the future from all at Dumbarton, following the expiry of their loan deals with the club.
Frizzell played 10 games for Sons, scoring three goals, including marking his debut against Forfar Athletic with a double. His other goal was also against the Loons in November’s William Hill Scottish Cup tie.
Shiels, meanwhile, turned out nine times for DFC, four of them starting and five as a substitute, without scoring.
Due to injuries, neither player has featured since the 4-3 win at Forfar Athletic in December.
The two players are wished all the best for the future by everybody at Dumbarton.
