East Fife netted an added-time winner as Dumbarton suffered a 3-2 defeat this afternoon.

The hosts led after just a few minutes when Nathan Austin pounced on a loose ball to tap in the opener.

A swift second-half turnaround from Sons had them ahead thanks to goals from Finlay Gray and James Hilton in the opening minutes of the half.

The lead was short lived with Brian Easton heading the Fifers level and it looked as if the points would be shared.

That was until Austin’s winner on 92 minutes to earn the home side three points.

Dumbarton travel to Spartans next weekend.
