JACK Ross will be at Ainslie Park tomorrow for his last official game as Sons assistant manager before he joins up at Tynecastle and his new role as Hearts U20 head coach.
We caught up with Jack this morning and he told us: “I am extremely grateful to all at Dumbarton Football Club for firstly the opportunity to work within the club, and secondly for their support throughout my time at the club.
“This gratitude extends to all at boardroom level and across the loyal support base”
“I am fortunate that my tenure has coincided with a successful period for the team which undoubtedly has been as result of the tremendous commitment and performance levels from the players over the past three seasons.
“I cannot speak highly enough of their professionalism and desire to continue to progress.”
“Finally I have built a very close working and indeed personal relationship with Ian, and know that he will continue to build on his achievements so far and enjoy a bright and successful career in management.”
