KRISTOFFER SYVERTSEN SIGNS FOR DUMBARTON

Thursday 8th July 2021

DUMBARTON have completed a deal for Norwegian striker Kristoffer Syvertsen, who featured as a trialist in Saturday’s 1-0 win over Clydebank.

The 23-year-old last played for Clyde, for whom he turned out 10 times last season, all of them before the campaign was temporarily shut down.

Having been released from Broadwood at the end of the season, he played the last 20 minutes on Saturday and has now signed a deal for the coming term.

As well as his native Norway, Kristoffer has also played club football in Spain before joining Clyde in 2018.

Manager Stevie Farrell said: “Kristoffer is an extremely talented player who we feel will give us a very decent option on the attacking side.

“He’s looking forward to a new challenge with us and we’re looking forward to working with him. We’re confident he’ll be a real asset.”

Look out for an interview with Kristoffer on the club website later today.
