KIRKY AGREES CONTRACT EXTENSION

Thursday 9th January 2014

JORDAN Kirkpatrick has agreed terms with manager Ian Murray to extend his contract to the end of next season.

‘Kirky’, who lives in Castlemilk, made his senior debut for Hamilton Accies on April 26 2008, against Dundee, and moved on loan to Brechin City on January 31 2011.

He was given a new one-year contract in March 2012, but was released by Accies on December 30 2012.

After a brief spell with Airdrie United, the 21 year-old signed with Dumbarton following three trial games and has become an important part of Ian Murray’s midfield, playing 17 times and scoring 2 goals.

Both manager and player are delighted at the outcome of recent negotiations.
