DUMBARTON have completed the signing of goalkeeper Kevin Dabrowski, who joins on a season-long loan deal from Hibernian.
The 6ft 5in 22-year-old spent the first part of the 2019/20 season on loan from the Easter Road outfit to Cowdenbeath. He kept six clean sheets in 18 games with the Fifers.
In previous loan spells, he has played for Berwick Rangers and Civil Service Strollers.
He played in pre-season matches for Hibs in the recent summer and is highly-rated by ex-Sons assistant manager Jack Ross, who is now in charge at the Edinburgh club.
Manager Jim Duffy said: “It has been no secret that we need a goalkeeper on board and Kevin is an ideal option for us.
“Hibs have high hopes for him and feel that coming to us on loan can only help him push to become their first choice keeper. He’ll be an important player for us during his stay.
“We of course need to continue to add to our squad and work remains ongoing on this front. Bit by bit, we are getting there as the new season draws closer.”
Kevin joined Dumbarton for training at the stadium this week, and Andy Scott was there to take pictures of him.
Kevin’s home and away jerseys are now sponsored — thank you. Please keep an eye out for future player sponsorship opportunities as more players join the squad.
