FRESH from making the switch to the Sons, penning his first contract at Dumbarton, Mark Docherty stated he can’t wait to get going.
“I’m raring to go and I’m ready to hit the ground running”, said Mark.
The defender who can also play in midfield, signed a one-year deal earlier today.
“I’m very happy to sign and having worked with the gaffer and Faz before, they both played a part in me joining the Sons”, he told us.
He added: “I enjoyed my time at Alloa and it was sad to leave and I did have a couple of other offers to consider, including an option to go full-time, but I’m very happy to be here focusing on Dumbarton.”
