JORDAN BROWNLEE APPOINTED TO BOARD

We’re delighted to confirm the appointment of Jordan Brownlee to the Dumbarton Football Club 1872 limited board of directors as Director for Facilities and Assets.

Jordan is a professional Chartered Civil Engineer as well as a lifelong Sons fan and will provide a supporters voice for the new era at the club.

He brings a skillset to the club that will assist in the proactive maintenance and development of the stadium and will work closely with our wider facilities team and suppliers.

On his appointment Jordan said: “I am delighted to join the club as a Director as we move into a new chapter in the club’s proud 153-year history.

“It is a real privilege both professionally and personally to have the opportunity to help shape the club’s future and as a lifelong supporter of the club I look forward to making that as positive as it can be.

“I will be working alongside fellow Directors and club officials, engaging with the local community, business and supporters to maximise the club’s off-field performance that will underpin and drive its potential as a thriving, community-based football club.

“Fans should look forward to seeing some immediate improvements in and around the stadium as well as plenty of upcoming events. I’d encourage all fans to support these events where possible.

“I am also excited to continue in my role with the Sonstrust as we build ties with the club that will be stronger than ever, working in partnership to give the fans are real say in the vision and direction of the club.”
