GOALIE Jamie Ewings missed yesterday’s 2-0 win against Morton thanks to a groin injury, but he wants to get back playing as quickly as possible.
“I’ve been having trouble for a couple of weeks now”, said Jamie.
“Against Dundee it got steadily worse and during the run up to the Morton match it became clear that I would be struggling to start the game.
“Hopefully it’s not a long term thing, but I’ll probably be out for another week which is a blow.”
Stephen Grindlay, who deputised for Ewings yesterday, kept a clean sheet which is only the second of the SPFL Championship season.
