SONS boss Ian Murray has been named SPFL Championship Manager of the Month for January.
Sons remained unbeaten last month winning all games including a 5-1 victory against Alloa Athletic.
Ian is pictured with his award following collection at Hampden Park earlier in the week having gained the support of the Scottish Football Writers Association.
Delighted with being nominated, Ian said: “It’s a real team effort at Dumbarton and I accept the accoloade on behalf of my staff and players.
“We had three fantastic performances against Morton, Cowdenbeath and then Alloa and scored eleven goals in the process.”
And the unbeaten run continued yesterday with a fine 2-1 win against title chasing Falkirk at the Bet Butler Stadium.
