STRIKER Jaime Wilson has completed his move to Dumbarton after international clearance was received, enabling him to complete his move from Australia.
The 22-year-old started his career with Inverness CT before moving to Highland League outfit Rothes, where he became a regular goalscorer.
He scored 26 goals in 56 games with them, 13 in each of his two seasons.
He left Rothes in February 2019 and joined Northcote City (he is pictured in their strip), who play in the third tier of the Australian football pyramid. He finished their season with 11 goals in 23 games.
The Covid-19 pandemic meant that Jaime returned home to Scotland in April, and after a successful spell training with Sons, he is now on board for the full season.
Jaime is in line to make his debut in Saturday’s League One opener away to Forfar Athletic and will wear the number 14 shirt.
Manager Jim Duffy said: “Jaime has an impressive goalscoring record in Scotland and abroad and has looked very good in the training sessions he has done with us.
“We’ve been waiting for some time to complete his signing due to international clearance, but it is all done and dusted now and we’re looking forward to seeing how he does for us.”
