We’re delighted to announce the signing of former Edinburgh City striker Jack Duncan on a deal until the end of the season.
The 6’4 centre forward, who can also play in central defence, joins after an impressive first-half of the season at the Citizens – where he scored six times in his debut campaign in the SPFL.
24-year-old Jack started his career with Hibernian, before spending time with Livingston, Cowdenbeath, Tranent, Broxburn and in Northern Irish football with Portadown and Dundela.
Now he’s signed up at The Marbill Coaches Stadium, having already impressed against us for the Citizens earlier in the season.
Boss Frank McKeown said: “Jack is someone who caught my eye during his time with Edinburgh. He’s a very physical, powerful player who is a real handful for defenders and has a determination to be a success as a Dumbarton player.
“He’ll add a new dimension to our attack and is someone who has all the attributes and leadership qualities to be a big player for us this season. We’re looking forward to working with him.”
Jack will wear the number nine shirt and goes straight into the squad for this weekend’s game with Forfar Athletic.
Both his home and away tops are available to sponsor, priced at £200.
