WHEN our supporters return to Dumbarton Football Stadium for tomorrow’s game against Stirling Albion, they will see a number of changes which have taken place since their last visit in May.
Perhaps the most obvious will be the quality of our playing surface, after some intensive work over the summer by our groundsman Jim Paton and his assistant Aaron Mills.
With the quality of the pitch deteriorating over the course of last season, our ground staff have worked hard to ensure it is back to its usual high standard for the start of this campaign.
A number of seats at the front of the stand have also been removed to make room for wheelchair users to watch matches.
None of these seats were previously occupied by season ticket holders.
Lastly, volunteers have spent this week cleaning the seats at the stadium in order to welcome fans back.
Season ticket holder stickers have been removed from the seats, but will be replaced when season tickets are distributed for the new season.
We extend sincere thanks to all those involved in the changes which have taken place around the stadium.
All supporter feedback is welcome, and if supporters have any ideas which could make the matchday experience better off the pitch, please get in touch.
