WITH the transfer window set to close this week, Sons boss Ian Murray confirmed that he is still hoping to add to the squad.
So far in January, Phil Johnston, Jamie Lyden, Kevin Nicoll, Martin McNiff and Ross Forsyth have moved on to other clubs in loan deals whilst striker Pat Walker was released from his contract.
Added to the above, full-back Nicky Devlin has returned to Motherwell following his second loan spell from the SPL club.
Ian admitted that there was one area in particular he wanted to strengthen: “We are continuing to look to add to the squad,” he said.
“With Nicky going back to Fir Park, I need cover in that area.
“Hopefully we’ll be able to make an announcement soon.”
