With the pitch at the Marbill Coaches Stadium currently unplayable and the forecast for the remainder of the week showing little sign of improving, we’ve taken the decision to cancel hospitality for this weekend’s game with Clyde – in anticipation of the match being postponed.
In order to minimise disruption and waste for our caterers Taste of Home – Catering by Roo we have acted early to take the difficult decision, which we appreciate will come as a disappointment to the guests we were looking forward to welcoming to our freshly refurbished Chivas Suite this weekend.
We’d like to apologise to supporters, but hope that they will appreciate the reasons behind the decision.
Those who have booked to be in hospitality this weekend have been contacted directly, and all bookings can be changed free of charge for an alternative match, with refunds also available.
Our ground staff will continue to work flat-out to attempt to make the surface playable, with a final decision expected to be made on Saturday following an inspection carried out by an SFA referee.
