Dumbarton Football Club is thrilled to confirm the signing of winger Scott Honeyman following a successful trial period with the club.
Scott has featured regularly throughout pre-season, impressing manager Stevie Farrell with his work rate, technical ability, and attitude, earning him a permanent contract at the Rock.
The 19-year-old arrives from William Hill Premiership side Falkirk, having spent last season on loan at Alloa Athletic in William Hill League 1, where he made 12 appearances.
Scott has also enjoyed productive loan spells with Lowland League outfit East Stirlingshire, registering 12 goals and 5 assists across 52 appearances. In addition, he made three senior appearances for Falkirk’s first team.
A versatile wide player, Scott brings pace and creativity to the Sons’ attacking options and is seen as a player with strong long-term potential. His signing bolsters the squad as Dumbarton look to bounce back strongly from last season’s relegation.
