YESTERDAY’S historic edition of Sons View, the club’s matchday programme, was a hit with fans and collectors as forecast, with the publication selling out.
It was the first ever programme to accompany a Dumbarton home match against Inverness CT – and, as it turned out, the club’s first ever victory over the Highland outfit.
Programme editor Graeme Robertson is delighted with the response to this season’s programme – but doesn’t have to wait long for his and his team’s next assignment.
He said: “We knew this programme would be popular, not only with fans but with programme collectors as well. We’re grateful to everybody who has purchased a copy.
“We now move on to the issue for the Irn Bru Cup tie with Stranraer – which will already be issue nine this season!”
