Regrettably, further to two independent scan reports and specialist advice, Greig Young requires surgery on his injured knee.
It was initially hoped that Greig may be able to undergo a period of rehabilitation and strengthening work without the need for surgery however, following a period of medical consultation, Greig will now undergo surgery at the soonest opportunity.
Dumbarton Football Club is committed to the welfare of its players and is keen to prove support to this outstanding young talent with the considerable financial cost of his essential operation.
The management team and players are insistent on organising a series of fundraising events to help Greig.
