MIDFIELDER Grant Gallagher went under the surgeon’s knife today to repair knee damage suffered in Sons pre-season game against Partick Thistle.
And the good news is that the operation went well and that Grant’s journey to recovery has started.
Tweeting to his followers today, the Sons No 5 said: “Good news. Meniscus had healed on its own so didn’t need repaired, hamstrings were really big so the graft was perfect! The new Ibra…”
Grant signed for Sons in the summer of 2015 and has been desperately unlucky with injuries. He’s managed 46 appearances during that time, scoring 5 goals.
Everyone at DFC wishes him well during his rehab period.
