GRANT Adam has been no stranger to aches and pains this season and his comeback game last Saturday ended prematurely for the big goalie.
In the 82nd minute against Montrose Grant had to be replaced by Chris Smith with a scare that his back problems had returned.
But as gaffer Jim Duffy explains, it sounds like there is no lasting damage and Grant should be in the squad to face one of his former clubs, Airdrie, this Saturday.
“Grant had numbness in his leg on Saturday and after initial on-field treatment it felt OK”, said Jim.
“But when he attempted a goal kick he felt it again and we took him off as a precaution.”
Prior to last Saturday’s game, Grant’s final game for the team before sustaining a back injury was against Airdrie at the Penny cars Stadium in September.
