HOW are the nerves? Has it even sunk in yet?

Good morning to all Dumbarton fans on this special day, when for the first time in 121 years, the club competes in a current national cup final.

Inverness CT are our opponents at McDiarmid Park in the Irn Bru Cup final – the club’s biggest day in terms of current knockout football since the 1897 Scottish Cup final.

We lost that one to Rangers, but today, with no little effort but maybe a little good fortune if needed, we can go one better.

One supporters’ bus is making its way to Perth early doors for flag-placing duty, with another 10 (TEN!) to follow in the early part of the afternoon.

The supporters’ bar is open at the YOUR Radio 103FM Stadium from 11am and all fans are welcome.

Supporters are asked to note that due to a pre-booked function, the supporters’ bar facilities at the stadium will NOT be available after the game.

From everybody at Dumbarton FC – have a fun, but most importantly SAFE day out on this extraordinary afternoon.

See you on the other side of it all!
